During the 1970’s the group built up a strong team of leaders and the troop had up to 40 boys at a time.  The group didn’t have far to go to Woodstock International Jamboree in Inistioge in 1978.  The lightship ‘Osprey’ was assigned a training centre for the group and the tradition of galas and competitions continued.
